Southern Sweetheart Events is an event planning company based in Florida. We help our clients turn their dreams into reality. We can do as much or as little as they need us to do. From finding the venue and vendors to helping decide a theme and decor’ and even day of coordination to make sure the event goes smoothly.

Our Story

At Southern Sweetheart Events our focus has always been and will always be the attention to detail, so that our clients can enjoy their day. Having a smooth and stress-free day is key. I started Southern Sweetheart Events in 2016 after helping friends and family with their events. I soon realized the joy I had in helping them and seeing how happy they were when all the planning and details came together. I left my corporate job of 20+ years and haven’t looked back. I love that almost every weekend, I get to see happy couples enjoying their day that we worked so hard to create. And let’s be honest, what other profession do you get to have cake every week?!

When I am not planning events, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband (since 2008), traveling and decorating. I have five grown children and two of the most sweetest and adorable grandsons. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and work in an industry that I absoluetly love.
